Dragon-i @ Queensbay, Penang

My first visit was at Dragon-i @ Sunway Pyramid. I loved the Shanghainese dishes especially the "Siow Long Pao", served with ginger and vinegar.

Because of that 1st experience with my sister, I brought my family to Dragon-i @ Queensbay Mall, Penang. First, I likes the decorations, the Terracotta figures, the big lanterns, etc. Second, the food simply the best and delicious. For sure, we will come back for more.

Ong Cheng Huat Seafood (王清发海鲜) @ Bagan Lallang

I'm confused. Is it Ching Huat Seafood or Ong Cheng Huat Seafood?

Perhaps the owner discovered the typo error for many donkey years and started to change it, ha ha.

My 3rd visit actually. Not sure because of my expectation too high or the cook simply "ching chai" on that particular day, I found the food just "ma ma nia".

The signature dishes are "Tong Zhi Kai", Crackers, Steamed Fish and Steamed "La La". Surprisingly they don't serve rice and don't ask me why. And they serve Tuak here. Tuak is an alcoholic drink made of fermented rice, yeast and sugar.

Best Yam Rice @ Bukit Mertajam, Penang

Yam rice somehow is quite popular around Penang Mainland. From Chai Leng Park to Juru to Bukit Mertajam, you can find many kopitiams are sellings Yam rice. The Yam rice is served with "Kiam Chai" soup with tons of pig's spare parts (i.e. meat, meat ball, intestine, stomach, tongue, kidney, liver etc.). Simply delicious!!!

I had tried many and Bukit Mertajam Yam Rice is the best. The Yam rice is so fragrance, yummy and the "Kiam Chai" soup is not too sour, just taste nice. The spare parts must consume with the special black & chilli combination souce, just superb...
