Major Car Repair - :(

After 3 years plus and more than 80000km mileage, my car started to have intermittent engine vibration. Sent to service centre for troubleshooting and found out to be flywheel problem.

The whole flywheel replacement process took about 3.5 hours. Very impressed with the young mechanic named Kitt. He's not only competent but also friendly.

First, the car needs to jack up.

Then, wheels need to be removed.

Air intake assembly (before removed)

Air intake assembly (after removed)

Both drive shafts also removed.

Detached the gearbox, lowering down and removed the flywheel.

Brand new flywheel in a box.

Sparkling new

The old one ...

Hey Very details man, How much have you paid for the replacement.

I guess it should be very reasonable price. Because yours is a HONDA.

Managed to claim the part under warranty. But need to pay RM200 for the labour cost.

Service charge for RM200 but it is still under Warranty? I think you should claim for the FREE of charge.

Mitsubishi didn't charge a YEN for any part replacement if under warranty. Maybe it is only happened in Japan....ha.ha
